BA-AHCC Students won Entrepreneurship Competition Awards
Two BA-AHCC students, Cheng Ho Long and Choy Yin Shan, participated in the 3rd Social Entrepreneurship Practice Camp and won the 2nd Runner Up and a cash prize of HK$10,000.
BBA-SCM Student Won CILTHK Scholarship 2018/19
Jessie Poon (BBA-SCM, Year 4) has won the CILTHK Scholarship 2018/19. Among participants from a number of tertiary institutions, Jessie Poon was awarded the Scholarship in the Bachelor Degree category.
The 10th International Logistics Case Competition 2019
In a collaborative effort, our SCM students Ho Cheuk Kiu, Keely and Yeung Lok Sze, Vanessa, along with two students from HKUST and another from Singapore University of Social Sciences, has won the Championship in the 10th International Logistics Case Study Competition 2019.
BMSIM students won the First Runner-up in the HSUHK X SCMP ENTREPRENEURSHIP CHALLENGE 2019
A three-member team, consisting of TANG Yinxiang (BMSIM), YIP Chun Ling (BMSIM), CHU Wai Man (BBA – Management), formed a team of “Bubble” to propose an innovative application in P2P tourism won the First Runner-up in the HSUHK X SCMP ENTREPRENEURSHIP CHALLENGE 2019.

The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong (CILTHK) hosts the annual Student Day with missions to raise young people’s concern about the current issues of logistics and transport in Hong Kong, and to encourage them to develop their future career in related industries.
BBA-SCM students took championship in the Hong Kong Logistics Case Competition 2019
The Hong Kong Logistics Case Competition 2019 was held between 22 and 24 February 2019 aiming at promoting practical problem-solving skill and creative thinking capability of our post-secondary logistics students. It is a team-based intensive case competition in a simulated business reality where students need to resolve work place problem and enhance their career development.
BMSIM students won the second-runner up in DataDevelop 2019 Student Case Competition
The “A-team” formed by five BMSIM students attended the DataDevelop 2019 Student Case Competition on 26 Jan 2019. The team members were FAN Pak Hei, SIN Ka Yan, TING Siu Hung, WONG Kin Fung and YIU Yung Chi. They won the 2nd runner-up, while Champion and the 1st runner-up went to student teams from PolyU and CityU respectively.
1st Runner-Up, CILTHK – Pitch Competition 2018
A team of four BBA-SCM Year 4 students was first runner-up in the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong (CILTHK) – Pitch Competition 2018. Team members included Tse Kam Ha, Joanna; Lee Ho Hing, Neil; Kwok Lai Ha, Sonia and Tam Wing Yan, Cynthia. They were led by Dr Eugene Wong, Assistant Professor of the Department Supply Chain and Information Management. The team’s idea of transforming local transportation to an automated, system-guided and real-time responding transportation in Hong Kong was recognised.
2nd Runner-Up, DataDevelop 2018 Student Case Competition

A team of five BMSIM students (Law Shu Kai, Leung Chi Woon, Li Sing Yin, Lo Ying Pui and Tung Chi Ho) won the 2nd-runner up in the DataDevelop 2018 Student Case Competition which was open to local tertiary institutions. Students also got the opportunity to network with eminent professionals and hear their experience sharing on sustainable supply chain topics.
2nd Runner-Up, Maritime and Logistics Hackathon 2017

An interdisciplinary team of HSMC students, Lam Wing Yan, Yvonne (BBA-SCM), Ng Hei Yeung, Anson (BBA-BAF) and Ng Kwan Yeung, KG (BSC-DSBI) won the 2nd Runner-up in the Maritime and Logistics Hackathon 2017.
The Hackathon is one of the feature events in the Hong Kong Maritime Week 2017. It is a 40-hour competition during which students are challenged to think out of the box and to use their data analysis skills to build a business model, application or prototype. Over 50 teams of postgraduate and undergraduate students coming from universities in China, Hong Kong, Korea and Singapore participated in this competition.

CLITHK Kerry Logistics Scholarship 2016/17

Tse Yan-wing Idy, BBA-SCM Year 4 student, has won the CILTHK Kerry Logistics Scholarship 2017.
Idy outperformed other finalists from HKU, HKUST, CUHK and PolyU, and won the scholarship. Each CILTHK accredited programme at a local university can nominate one full-time student member with a minimum weighted GPA of 3.30. The award is based on academic achievements, extra-curricular activities, final presentation and commitment of a career in logistics industry.
2nd Runner-Up, AIA CSR Reports Contest 2017

A team of five HSMC students, including LI Ho Ting (BSC-DSBI year 3), won 2nd runner-up in the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Reports Contest 2017 organised by the Hong Kong Branch of the Association of International Accountants (AIA) on 23 April 2017. Teams from ten local and mainland universities participated in the competition.

A team of five BBA-SCM students, Tsang Wai Sheung, Wong Tse Shan, Tse Kam Ha, Tse Yan Wing and Wong Wing Kiu Phoebe, won the First Runner-up in the Student Day 2017 Competition hosted by The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong (CILTHK). They gave an excellent presentation with impressive analyses on the topic entitled “Do you think increase the number of seats on Public Light Bus can improve the business environment of the operators and shorten the waiting time of passengers as well?”. The Champion was HKU and the Second Runner-up was HKUST.

Champion, CILTHK Case Competition 2016

SCM students Chan Kuan U Luis, Wong Tsz Kin Jimmy and Kok Man Kit Steve beat top schools and won the champion in the Case Competition 2016 organised by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong (CILTHK). The first and second runner-ups were students from PolyU and HKUST. Theme of the Competition this year was “Innovative Ideas for Logistics and Transport Industry in Hong Kong”.

A team of five BBA-SCM final-year students, Chan Yuet Fai Novena, Kok Man Kit Steve, Lam Yin Tung, Lui Cheuk Man and Yan Kwai Kit, won the prestigious CILTHK Final Year Project Award 2016 with their project entitled “Analysis on arrival sequencing methods for smoothing arrival congestion and reducing arrival delay in HKIA”. Their proposal could help reduce 10% of the flight delay in the Hong Kong International Airport.
