Abstract:
In Hong Kong, the education industry is one of the pioneers among industries in utilizing digital platforms. To further elaborate the idea, digital platform is mainly designed with the purposes of online learning, assessing and examining in order to obsolete paper-based learning models in the near future.
The electronic assessment platform will be a useful tool and is also a trend in dealing with distance learning issues. It started adopting worldwide in recent years, with a boom at this moment in Hong Kong under the impact of the outbreak of COVID-19.
It is hoped that after the first trial of using the electronic assessment platform in the education industry together with the results based on this project, the related authorities and software companies could have a better understanding and gain practical experience in implementing the digital platform. Suggestions are made in this project which can be a reference in modifying the electronic assessment platform when entering into the education industry more smoothly and seamlessly.
