To recognize undergraduate students at the School of Decision Sciences (SDSC)of the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) to pursue excellence in their studies, the Menzies CNAC Aviation Services Limited established the “Menzies CNAC Aviation Services Limited Distinguished Performance Scholarship” in AY2023-2024.

The awardees for the first cohort of the Scholarship were Luk Yuen Lam (graduate of BBA in Supply Chain Management) and Lam Ting Hin (BSc in Applied Computing, Year 3). A cheque presentation ceremony was held on 5 December 2024 at the campus.

The awardees were selected based on their excellent academic performance, services provided for programme or department, leadership contributions and remarkable success in extracurricular activities. In addition, nominees have to join an interview with panel consisting of the Menzies CNAC senior members to finalize the scholarship awardees.

At the Ceremony, Professor Chan Wai Sum, Dean of SDSC, presented the cheques and extended his congratulations to the two awardees. He also encouraged them to continue to pursue their excellence in different areas, take opportunities to extend their horizons and give back to the community. Prof Chan also expressed his gratitude to the Menzies CNAC Aviation Services Limited for their support to SDSC and dedications to nurturing young talent.
