Talent Development Scheme: Chinese Dining Etiquette Workshop

The Talent Development Scheme- “Chinese Dining Etiquette Workshop” was held at The Always on 20 February 2025, attracting over 20 students participated in the workshop.

The workshop was hosted by Mr Sam Chong, Assistant Director of Food and Beverage from the New World Millennium Hong Kong Hotel. Sam has extensive experience in the hotel industry and is also an award-winning professional sommelier.

The content of the workshop was fruitful and practical. Students learned e.g. the proper manner on food ordering, , types of Chinese tea and wine, after-dinner details, dining and toasting etiquette through a simulation game.

The workshop provided an interactive and practical learning environment which enhanced students’ understanding of the Chinese dining etiquette. Such an experience will greatly assist them in their future careers and daily interactions with others.
