The Student Orientation Day 2019 was held on 20 August 2019. Professor Lawrence Leung, Dean of School of Decision Sciences, warmly welcomed the freshmen from the five programmes (BA-AHCC, BSC-AIN, BSC-DSBI, BBA-SCM and BMSIM) and gave an overview of the School and its activities. He highlighted that HSUHK students have been achieving outstanding performance in many external competitions that have affirmed our students’ quality and competitiveness. He encouraged the freshmen to take up the challenge to participate in competitions and to carry on the tradition of building HSUHK’s reputation.

Head of the three departments including Prof CK Poon, Prof ML Tang and Dr Stephen Ng also introduced their academic and administrative staff to the freshmen. After the School session, students attended the sharing and lunch sessions organised by their programmes.
