24 Apr, 2023

The School of Decision Sciences (SDSC) participated in the 28th China International Education Exhibition Tour (CIEET) and the 1st Hong Kong Higher Education Expo (HKHEE) held on 15 April 2023 at Guangzhou and Shenzhen respectively. Over 4,000 students and parents joined the events.

The CIEET, organized by Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange, an official centre the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, has been hosted for 20 years in over 20 major cities of China. Since its first series started in 1999, there were more than 2,000 universities and institutions from 55 countries and regions joined the exhibition and displayed their educational opportunities to over 1 million mainland students and parents.

The HKHEE, organised by the Hong Kong ESC Organization and the Heart Do Education Limited. It was the first education expo focus on Hong Kong’s tertiary education study held in the mainland China. More than 10 universities and institutions from Hong Kong joined the expo, which provides an opportunity for mainland students to explore the higher education study in Hong Kong.

Our colleagues shared with a number of students and parents who are interested in our UG and TPG programmes. Two seminars were delivered in the CIEET to introduce our two master programmes, namely MSc-GSCM and MSc-DSAI. A sharing session and a media interview were held in the HKHEE to present the characteristics of our School, Department and Programme and share our programme uniqueness, admission criteria, career paths, etc.

Through these two events, students get more familiar with our School, and gain in-depth understanding of our programmes, so as to find a suitable path for further study.
