Professional Talk – Algo Trading and Asset Management

A professional talk – Algo Trading and Asset Management organized by the Master of Science in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Programme was held on 27 April 2023 at the Fung Yiu King Hall.
It was our great honour to have two distinguished guests: Dr Bankee Kwan, JP, Chairman & CEO of the Celestial Asia Securities Holdings (CASH Group) and Dr Alfred Ma, Managing Director of CASH Algo Finance Group to share the views on the future outlook of algo trading in Hong Kong. Following the sharing was a question-and-answer session. Participants were so eager to know more about the mechanism of algo trading and its future perspective.
The talk attracted over 50 participants including academics and students. They were inspired by Dr Kwan’s and Dr Ma’s perceptive insights and profound experience in algo trading market.
